What does it mean to have our minds and imaginations renewed by faith? St Paul’s call in Romans 12 to be “transformed by the renewing of your mind” is not only a moral summons, it is an invitation to see the world more truly, more deeply, and more beautifully. This retreat explore that renewal through the lens of three great art forms, with the Psalms as our constant companion and guide. Our three conferences follow the images of wind, fountain and fire as keys to the Christian imagination. In The Word Breathed Out, we explore Christian poetry and the attentive, praising mind. In The Fountain of Longing, we turn to prose, story and the pilgrim imagination, the deep thirst that drives all narrative. In The Fire of Beholding, we attend to the visual arts and the transforming power of beauty.

Together, the three sessions offer a vision of Christian creativity as vocation: a call to receive the world as gift and to offer it back, renewed to God.
